Meg Gilley is an experienced health policy advisor with a deep understanding of policy and advocacy. With over 15 years of government affairs experience, Meg supports clients’ strategic objectives through federal lobbying, strategic planning, and implementing regulatory strategies.
Meg recently served as a Public Policy Advisor and Director at two global law firms where she represented health industry clients including but not limited to hospitals, provider associations, biomedical companies, and at-home testing manufacturers before Congress and the executive branch. She also provided strategic guidance to clients during the Appropriations process, including drafting report language and community project funding requests and tracking their implementation.
Previously, Meg served as a congressional lobbyist for a large professional physician society where she focused on developing and executing federal advocacy strategies around health policy issues, including MACRA, Medicare/Medicaid, health information technology, and the Affordable Care Act.
In addition to her years working at the federal level, Gilley has experience advocating with the Georgia General Assembly. She served as the Director of Public Policy at the Georgia Hospital Association, where she worked with the governor and state officials to shape public policy and regulations impacting the state’s hospital systems. Gilley began her career as a Senior Policy Advisor to Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA), where she managed the Congressman’s appropriations process and health care portfolio.
