With nearly 20 years in the Virginia General Assembly, Cindy’s expertise in government affairs is a valuable asset to the Principle Advantage team. She excels in connecting with legislators, lobbyists, and the community, promoting legislative actions and advocacy campaigns. Cindy’s knowledge spans from budget negotiations and regulation processes to policy and grassroots efforts. Her diverse policy experience encompasses areas such as energy, flooding, gaming, healthcare, spirits, and transportation. Before becoming an integral part of Principle Advantage Government Relations Group, Cindy occupied the position of Chief of Staff for a prominent legislator involved in crucial policy committees including House Appropriations and key healthcare and veterans’ policy committees and commissions. Besides her extensive experience in state policy, Cindy’s portfolio also displays her significant contributions to several local and state-level political campaigns. Cindy initiated her political journey in Washington, D.C., revolutionizing voter contact strategies for federal nominees and lobbying through technology. Her tenure as Director of Political Services at a prestigious K Street firm established her as an effective strategist. Owning a political consulting firm further enhanced her reputation. Besides her career, Cindy passionately advocates for youth mentorship.
