Amber D. Lewis has been working in the Washington State capital since 2001. Beginning as an intern for the Senate Ways and Means Committee, she quickly assumed the role of Legislative Assistant. With interim efforts supporting campaigns, Amber eventually was promoted to the fiscal analyst for the Senate Democratic Caucus, who was responsible for drafting the partisan aspects of the state budget. In 2005, Amber transitioned to in-house lobbying, representing the state employee’s union and the state’s largest health care system. In 2014, Amber launched Lewis
Consulting LLC, supporting clients ranging from communications, strategic counsel, grassroots and grasstops advocacy, procurement, and public relations. Amber specializes in health care, taxation, Tribal policy, transportation, and housing. With a broad array of clients, Amber has relationships in corners of the legislature and the Executive branch. Lewis Consulting also assists clients with regulatory matters and rule development with state agencies. Originally from Spokane, she is a proud graduate of Eastern Washington University. She can also be found routinely rooting on Gonzaga University. Besides her professional commitments, she enjoys traveling and live music and cherishes spending quality time with her dogs and family. Her deep ties to the
community and passion for public service drive her work, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those around her.
